Fourth Candidate Files For Southern District Kosciusko County Commissioner

Just a handful of candidates filed this past week for the May primary, but they include a fourth candidate for southern district county commissioner and a third candidate for county council district 3.
Elaine Kokenge, Warsaw, a Republican, filed for commissioner of the southern district. She will go up against three men – incumbent Bob Conley, Warsaw; Don Wiesehan Jr. and Brian D. Pyle, both of Mentone – also Republicans.
Joshua Lozano, Warsaw, is the third Republican to file for county council district 3, the seat currently held by Ernie Wiggins who announced he was not seeking re-election. Lozano faces County Coroner Tony Ciriello and Scott Clay in the primary.

• Douglas Ruch, Milford, Republican, Milford Town Council, incumbent.
• Lori Harman, Leesburg, Republican, Jefferson Township Board.
• Kyle P. Dukes, Milford, Republican, sheriff, incumbent.
• Beth Krull, Milford, Republican, Jefferson Township trustee, incumbent.
• Larry Siegel, Syracuse, Republican, Syracuse Town Council, incumbent.

• Rick Swaim, Winona Lake, Republican, Winona Lake Town Council District 5, incumbent.
• David A. Wolkins, Warsaw, Republican, County Council District 4.
• Shane Bucher, Milford, Republican, Van Buren Township Board, incumbent.
• Donald L. Morris, Claypool, Republican, Clay Township Board, incumbent.
• Kevin Hohman, Silver Lake, Republican, Seward Township Board, incumbent.
• Michael W. Long, Warsaw, Republican, County Council District 2, incumbent.
