FORT WAYNE – The Fort Wayne Philharmonic announced details of its “Steel Dynamics Patriotic Pops Series,” in family-friendly outdoor venues throughout Northeast Indiana, from June 25 through July 4 as part of region-wide local celebrations of the American spirit.
At 7:30 p.m. June 27, the Patriotic Pops will be at Central Park, 225 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, with Music Director Andrew Constantine as conductor. There is free admission to the public and no tickets are required.
Conducted by Constantine and Youth Orchestras Director Troy Webdell, these concerts feature patriotic and Americana favorites to kick off the Philharmonic’s summer season, according to a news release provided.
All concerts are free to the public and are made possible by a multi-year grant from title sponsor Steel Dynamics Foundation Inc. and by the support of local organizations and individuals. Park admission fees apply in certain venues.
Patriotic Pops is just the beginning of an expanded seven-week series of summer concerts that the Philharmonic will be presenting across the region, the release states. For a full list of concerts, visit fwphil.org.
