Fort Wayne Man Injured In Tuesday A.M. WreckA Tuesday morning wreck at the intersection of CRs 650E and 200N in Tippecanoe Township sent one man to the hospital.
According to Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Sgt. Chris Francis, at 9:03 a.m. Tuesday KCSO was called to an accident at that intersection.
A 2005 International semi that was towing a 2008 trailer, driven by James Reiff, 40, of Warsaw, was traveling on CR 200N when it crossed into the path of a 2017 Toyota Sienna, traveling south on CR 650E. Elmo Portee, 55, of Fort Wayne, was driving the Sienna.
Portee was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, Francis said.
North Webster/Tippecanoe Township Fire Department and Department of Natural Resources conservation officers assisted KCSO at the scene.
