Fort Wayne Man Faces Molesting ChargesA man accused of having sex with minors in Fort Wayne and Oklahoma was arrested for allegedly molesting a child in Kosciusko County.
Jamarcus A. Eldridge, 33, Fort Wayne, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail at 2 p.m. Wednesday for child molestation with a bond set at $25,250.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed in Superior Court I on May 22, Warsaw Police Department officers became aware of an Allen County warrant for Eldridge for sex with a minor. WPD also became aware of a Department of Child Services investigation against Eldridge for child molestation at a Kosciusko County residence.
Court documents state the child told a friend Eldridge touched her in a cupping motion two separate times on the outside of her clothing over her vagina.
Officers and DCS employees went to the residence where the allegations occurred and found Eldridge there. He was arrested on the Allen County warrant and taken into custody.
Eldridge told police he figured police arrived to speak to him about the sex with a minor charges in Fort Wayne and in Oklahoma. Eldridge told police his girlfriend, who he was living with, knew about the charges. Police later discovered the girlfriend was not aware of the allegations made against him.
When asked by police about the child molestation allegation here, Eldridge denied it and told police the child was "lying."
Police and DCS investigators then searched Eldridge's cellphone, and "the events and his Facebook were disturbing," court records state. On his phone, images of a young female, who police believe to be a teenager, being bound and gagged in the nude, along with photos of Eldridge smoking weed and with firearms, were found.
Eldridge then agreed to take a polygraph test. However, he later refused to take the polygraph test, requested a lawyer and told police he will, "take it to trial."
