Forgive

Editor, Times-Union:

I stare out this window once again, looking beyond these bars, these walls, these hills. I look hard as I feel so far away from all the world I have ever known. But I'm forced to hold my head up high and push forward for my family, and for myself.

Four years have passed me by now living in this "prison." Four years ago as still a child, I made mistakes which will continue to haunt me, as I hurt all those around me, those who cared for me, and people I did not even know.

As this time has passed I have realized so many things in my life and hate what I have done, more so each day. The potential I have, I have seen ripped from me at my own doings, and yes, it hurts. I have seen my hopes and dreams as a young man shattered, by my own hands, and yes, it hurts. But today, I have to look forward, not backwards.

I write this because it was all of my fellow citizens in the Warsaw community I hurt, and before I can ultimately move forward I have to say to you all I am deeply sorry. So sorry for my actions.

I am no longer that young kids I was, but today growing as a man, and I regret each day those wrongs. I only hope you all can accept me as I am ready to correct those mistakes and become a prosperous citizen in Warsaw.

I am ready to return to my home, my family. I ask that you please accept me, and give me the chance to prove the man I can be. I apologize deeply to all I have hurt. You have no idea how much, and thank those of you today who even took the time to read this. I am worth a second chance. God bless.
