The Sons Of The American Revolution encourage everyone to fly their American Flag on Saturday, Sept. 11. This will be the ninth anniversary as we remember those who lost their lives because of the heinous crime of radical Islamic fundamentalists. We also remember and honor the members of our Armed Forces who have lost their lives when their nation called to fight the war on terrorism.
It is my privilege to be a member of the Kosciusko County 9-11 Committee and would remind everyone that there will be a special ceremony at 3:15 p.m. at the Kosciusko County 9-11 Memorial. We will honor Sgt. Jeff Shaw, who lost his life in the line of duty, and his family by adding his name to the memorial.
If you enjoy your freedom take a moment to thank our law, fire, emergency and armed forces personnel who put their lives on the line every day.
Most importantly, thank God for His many blessings we have as Americans.
