Flora "Alice" Hughes, 83, Syracuse, died Aug. 5, 2026, in Elkhart.
She was born March 26, 1943, in Stone Gap, Va., to James and Belvia Hays Sturgill. She married Robert Hughes in August 1978; he died Sept. 9, 1997.
A Life Celebration service will be held at noon Monday, Aug. 10 at Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Warsaw. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
