Five Parkview hospitals received "A" grades in the fall 2025 Hospital Safety Grades released by The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit that evaluates patient safety in hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers, according to the release from Parkview.
Parkview Regional Medical Center (PRMC), Parkview Hospital Randallia, Parkview Huntington Hospital, Parkview Noble Hospital and Parkview Whitley Hospital received an "A" in Leapfrog's twice-annual safety rating.
Leapfrog assigns an A-F grade to general hospitals across the country based on more than 30 national performance measures reflecting errors, accidents, injuries and infections, as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent harm.
Parkview's hospitals continued to build their streaks of quality this year. Parkview Regional Medical Center (PRMC) has scored an "A" on 23 of 25 Leapfrog report cards dating back to 2013. Parkview Noble Hospital has received an "A" for seven consecutive report cards, while Parkview Huntington Hospital and Parkview Whitley Hospital/ Parkview Kosciusko Hospital have received six straight "A"s.
"We highly value the quality of care provided and the safety of our patients and co-workers," said Dr. Jeffrey Boord, chief quality and safety officer, Parkview Health. "The safety programs and focus on patient outcomes is a continuous effort. We utilize the measures in the Leapfrog Safety Grade year-round to identify and implement improvements in patient care and safety."
