WINONA LAKE - The first Farmers Market at Winona of the season is Saturday, April 25 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“Grab some breakfast, pour yourself a fresh cup of coffee, and enjoy catching up with neighbors as you reminisce about the long, cold winter we had. Check in on your favorite vendors and take time to explore the new ones joining us this year,” a news release from the Farmers Market at Winona states.
Everything at the Farmers Market at Winona is produced by the vendors. Enjoy locally raised meats, cheeses, eggs, maple syrup, honey, fresh produce, breads, sweet treats, coffee, mushrooms, plants and more.
Bring your dull kitchen knives! A & B Sharpening will be offering knife sharpening services in the Skate Shop during the first market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., so you can shop the market while getting your knives professionally sharpened.
Vendor applications are now open through March 31. The market is selective in the vendors it chooses in order to protect and support the vendors currently in the market, the release states. All applications are reviewed by a board for approval before joining.
Applications can be downloaded at www.winonalake.net or picked up at the town of Winona Lake office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
