During halftime, three lucky fans were randomly selected to participate in the contest. Each contestant drew an envelope revealing their prize, with one fan opening up the golden ticket and the chance to dash for up to $1,000 in cash at center court. Emil Diaz dashed for cash and finished with $367 in the 30-second dash, according to a news release from WCS.
WCS Superintendent Dr. David Hoffert was joined by WCS administrators and board members at midcourt to recognize Everwise staff for their continued partnership and generous support of WCS.
Since 2017, Everwise’s contributions have supported student enrichment opportunities, academic awards, athletic equipment, new band trailers, etc. across the WCS.
Hoffert said, "We are extremely grateful to Everwise and their continued investment in our schools and students.
