GOSHEN - Evelyn R. Searls, 91, of Bristol, died at 7:50 p.m. Oct. 3, 2010, in Goshen General Hospital.
She was born Jan. 27, 1919, in Pierceton, to William and Grace Clover Waddell. On Sept. 25, 1937, she married Robert L. Searls, who died Aug. 29, 1994.
She was a homemaker, a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren and a 1937 New Paris High School graduate.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda (and spouse Devon) Faulkner, Warsaw, and Sandra (and spouse Clarence) Garver, Bristol; a son, Jack L. (and spouse Marilyn) Searls, Lewisburg, Tenn.; a brother, Gene (and spouse Sue) Waddell, Niles, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, a granddaughter, a great-great-grandson, a sister and two brothers.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Whitehead Cemetery.
Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, Goshen, is in charge of arrangements.
