SYRACUSE - Esther L. Curtis, 90, Syracuse, died at 6:13 a.m. Nov. 28, 2008, at Miller's Merry Manor, Syracuse.
She was born Jan. 17, 1918, in Nappanee, to Everett and Nancy Pippen. In 1941, she married Kenneth Curtis, who died in 2002.
She was a lifetime area resident and a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Syracuse.
Surviving are two sons, Robert and Richard Curtis, both of Syracuse; and two brothers, Merrill Pippen, Nappanee, and Bud Pippen, California. She was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.
Services will be private.
No calling is planned.
