Ernestine Watson, 82, of Leesburg, passed away at 3:50 p.m. Nov. 11, 2011, in her residence.
She was born May 11, 1929, in Munich Bavaria, Germany, to Hans and Centa Winterholler. On Aug. 3, 1959, in Goggingen, Germany, she married William R. Watson, who preceded her in death.
She was a former resident of Pierceton and Ligonier. She formerly worked at Lamplight Inn and Whitley Products, both in Pierceton, and retired from Superior Sample Co., Ligonier.
Surviving are four daughters: Cherie Somers, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Linda Mounsey, Warsaw; and Amber (and spouse Russell) Blackford and Tanya (and spouse Steve) Wood, all of Leesburg; two sisters, Chrystal Russnak and Irma Werner, both of Landsburg, Germany; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Hanns Winterholler.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
No calling is planned.
