BRISTOL – Erik Dean “Doc” Mounsey Morris, 20, died Aug. 4, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, following a motorcycle accident near Shipshewana.
He was born Aug. 13, 1995, in Goshen.
He attended Goshen and Northridge High Schools where he was active in football, track and wrestling. He worked in the local RV manufacturing industry.
Surviving are his mother, Lily (and spouse Jon Barrick) Gregorski, Bristol; his father, Ken (and spouse Lorelei) Mounsey Jr., Syracuse; fiancé, Kayla Garber, Warsaw; a stepson, Kasen Garber, Warsaw; three sisters: Danielle (and spouse Demiris) Williams, Syracuse; Somur (Christopher) Stanley, Goshen; Allyson Kirsch, Bristol; two stepbrothers, Malachi and Nicholi Rushlo; two stepsisters, Paige and Hadie Klabusich; grandparents, Nora Laws and Eldon (and spouse Lori) Barrick, all of Elkhart; Joan Mounsey, Bakersfield, Calif.; two nieces, Kylinne and Holly; and two nephews, Baiylin and Conner. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Mounsey Sr.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, with Pastor Fred Curry, New Paris Full Gospel Church, officiating. Cremation will take place after the service.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
