Eric W. Hoskin, 38, passed away at 5 p.m. Nov. 2, 2013, at his residence in the presence of family after a brave and life-long battle with ill health. He was born July 8, 1975, in Fayetteville, N.C., to Jon K. and Vera L. Peacock Hoskin. He was a 1994 graduate of Warsaw Community High School, and he lived most of his life in Warsaw. Most recently, he was a packer for Spartech. Additionally, he had worked for Cortech, Kroger, McQuick's, Kohl’s and R.R. Donnelley. He enjoyed going to car shows with his friends; he had a unique ability to design and customize vehicles and was especially known for customizing speaker systems in vehicles. Most of all, he loved and was proud of his sons and enjoyed spending time with them. He was known for his undaunted courage in life, his ability to make friends wherever he went and the tendency to smile no matter what the circumstances. Surviving are his mother, Vera Lee Charlton, Warsaw; his father, Jon Hoskin, Niles, Mich.; two sons, Braxton Shultz, Claypool, and Noah Aaron Hoskin, New Haven; a sister, Shana Lyn (and spouse Jason) Ort, Warsaw; a brother, Saber Lauren Charlton, Fort Wayne; grandparents; and an uncle, Paul Peacock. Services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Bob Jarboe, Kosciusko Home Care and Hospice chaplain, officiating.
