Editor, Times-Union: Tonight during an online live stream I listened to Bernie say “Enough is Enough” at least 50 times. I will be the first to admit that I am no liberal or progressive, but you know what? He is right. Enough is enough. Enough of our country and politicians being hijacked by the ultra-elite class, who purchase loyalty in order to line their pockets further. Enough of the stagnant wages and jobs going overseas in the name of higher profits. Enough of the contract jobs with no benefits. Enough of the corporate tax havens, where they avoid their responsibilities to the society from which they reap the benefits. Enough of the outrageous college tuitions that burden so many families, yet are nearly a requirement to make a decent living. Enough of the ridiculous wages paid to CEO’s and wall street fat cats while their employees are not even paid a decent living wage. Enough of the division, the brutality, the ideologies and the destruction of our planet. He is right, the working class people of America need to put some of our petty differences aside and band together and finally say enough is enough. This is our country and we need a political revolution that brings about a government that works for us and is owned by us. We need a people’s president. Not another big money sellout. I’m starting to think we need a guy like Bernie Sanders. Research for yourself. Don’t expect the media that is owned by the billionaire class to report openly about a guy that is speaking out against the billionaire class. Do your homework America, enough is enough.
