Elizabeth Ann Croop, 94, of Warsaw, passed away at 5:10 p.m. Nov. 19, 2012, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw. She was born Aug. 21, 1918, in Leesburg, to Edith Belle Anglin. On Oct. 26, 1940, in Warsaw, she married Forrest J. Croop, who died Dec. 31, 1999. A lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, she was a homemaker and a member of Leesburg United Methodist Church, Alumni Chapter of Delta Theta Tau and Mother’s Study Club. She was a gentle and kindhearted soul who thought of others before her and she dearly loved her family. Surviving are two daughters, Linda Lee Croop and Nancy Delph, both of Warsaw; a grandson, Shane Lee Delph, Warsaw; and a great-grandson, Kaymen Delph, Warsaw. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Hartman; a son-in-law, Virgil Delph; and her stepfather, Hugh McCann. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating. Burial will be in Leesburg Cemetery.
