Election Board Issues News Release On Mail-In Ballots

Staff Report-
In the past few days, there have groups that have done a mass mailing of absentee applications to Indiana and Kosciusko County voters, according to a news release Wednesday from the Kosciusko County Election Board.
Although these are legitimate mailings and within their legal rights to do so, they are not from the local election office.
Therefore, if you have already requested an absentee application to receive a mail-in ballot, you do not need to do anything else. They are being processed and your ballot will be mailed out by Sept. 19.
If you haven’t already submitted an absentee application to receive a mail-in ballot and meet the specific legal requirements to do so, then you may either complete and submit an application received in the mail or call the office of the Kosciusko County Clerk of Circuit and Superior Courts at 574-372-2332.
“Of course, we still have early voting and Election Day in-person voting,” the release states.
Anyone with concerns of the process or the status of their application ballot can contact the office at 574-372-2332.
