Eldon Ray Gaither, 79, Warsaw, died at 5:05 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024.
He was born May 15, 1944, in Vincennes, to Dorothy Lucille Owens Gaither and Berlin D. Gaither. Eldon served as a private in the U.S. Army at Olathe, Kan., and was honorably discharged in 1967.
Eldon married Stella and Jessica, both who preceded him in death. He then married Teresa Sue Parker Miller on May 6, 2018; she survives.
Eldon’s life will be celebrated with a service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Matthew Rogers. Friends and family may visit two hours prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A graveside service will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw with military rites conducted by the American Legion Post #49 and V.F.W., both of Warsaw, and active-duty members of the Indiana Honor Guard.
