Elba 'E.W.' Maynard

ROCHESTER - Elba "E.W." Maynard, 41, of 1208 Elm St., Rochester, died at 4:52 a.m. Nov. 16, 2007, on Fort Wayne Road, east of CR 650E, Rochester in a motor vehicle accident.

He was born Dec. 21, 1965, in Hillsdale, Mich., to Charles and Joyce Justice Maynard. On Sept. 24, 1988, in Roann, he married Teresa Noftsger, who survives.

He was a welder for Par-Kan, Silver Lake, for 16 years. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Rochester, where he served as a trustee.

Also surviving are a daughter, Julia Langley, Rochester; two sons, Justin Langley (and spouse Charlene) and Jonathon Langley (and spouse Haliee), both of Rochester; three sisters: Kelly Hammond Woodward and Samantha Krober, both of Oklahoma; and Shelly Burris, Kendallville; a brother, Eric Marsh, Middlebury; two stepsisters, Terry and Darlene, both of California; three grandchildren; his father, Charles Maynard; and his stepfather, Carl Good, North Manchester. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester, with the Rev. Jerry Pitman officiating. Burial will be at Rochester IOOF Cemetery.

Calling is 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
