MILFORD — Edward Manns, 86, Milford, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, at his daughter’s home in Milford.
He was born July 27, 1931, to Ardillion and Hattie Manns in Silver Lake.
He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.
Edward was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed working in the yard and garden and loved the outdoors.
Edward is survived by his wife, Bonnie; a daughter, Joyce Skrumelak, Milford; a brother, Gary (wife Norma), Sterling Heights, Mich.; a sister, Myrtle Riedy (husband Kermit), Summerfield, Fla.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Laramore, and a son, Larry.
A funeral service in Edward’s honor will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, at Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 461 W. 900 N, Milford. Pastor Brad Cox will officiate. Burial will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Milford, where military honors will be conducted.
Family and friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
