Edith A. Neer, 95, passed away Jan. 13, 2017, in Majestic Oaks Rehabilitation, Orange City, Fla. She was born Dec. 21, 1921, in Claypool, to Richard Fred and Mary Jane Julius Davis. On Jan. 1, 1942, in Warsaw, she married Harold Neer. They were married 55 years until his passing on Sept. 7, 1997. She was a 1940 graduate of Claypool High School. She spent most of her life in Warsaw before moving to Debary, Fla. She enjoyed knitting and garage sales. She also enjoyed traveling in her early years. Survivors include a son, Chip (spouse Janice) Neer, Fort Wayne; a daughter, Penny (spouse Thomas) Dzuba, Deltona, Fla; three granddaughters: Tina Coleman, Orlando, Fla., and Tracey Dzuba and Tanna (spouse Luis) Oliver, both of Deltona; and three great-grandkids: Pevin Coleman, Tylee Oliver and Taylin Oliver. She was preceded by her husband, Harold Neer, Sept. 7, 1997; a brother, Max Davis; and two sisters, Irene Konkle and Helen Lewis. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan St., Warsaw. The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor Bob Jarboe, Kosciusko Home Care & Hospice chaplain, officiating.
