MENTONE – The Echoes of the Past will host its first annual Tractor, Engine, Garden Tractor Show and Swap during the Mentone Egg Festival June 4-5 at the Mentone Airport.
The airport is south of Mentone off of Ind. 19 on CR 600S. Hours for the show are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. both days and there is no charge for admission.
Antique and vintage tractors from several decades will be featured. Case, Farmall, John Deere and more will be presented for the public to view and enjoy. The public will be asked to vote for best in show.
As tradition at Echoes of the Past events, there will be a tractor driving experience available to attendees. The Club will be staffing the driving experience from 1 to 8 p.m. both days. Tractor games will be running from 6 to 8 p.m. both days as well.
Vendors will be set up at the airport during the event.
The Echoes of the Past has partnered with Wheels on Fire-Cancer Crusaders, a nonprofit mission of Beaver Dam United Methodist Church, to provide food and drinks during the show and swap. Wheels on Fire raises money to help cancer patients in Kosciusko and Fulton counties. They will be on site serving attendees and participants.
The Echoes of the Past makes homemade ice cream using an antique engine. The ice cream will be available to purchase both days of the show.
