Echoes Of The Past Participates In Claypool Sesquicentennial CelebrationCLAYPOOL - The warm and sunny weather made for ideal conditions for the parade at the Claypool Sesquicentennial on Saturday.
The parade took off at 11 a.m. from the Claypool Elementary School and traveled down Section Street before heading through town on Main Street, treating patrons to some unique and rare entries.
The Echoes of the Past entered 23 different vintage and antique tractors. Minneapolis Moline, FarmAll, John Deere and Ford were all represented in the parade. Father and sons, husbands and wives, grandparents and grandchildren all made the event a family affair.
The next event for the club will be the Kosciusko County Fair. From July 9 through the 15, the club can be found at the Antique Village at the fairgrounds, playing host to a number of different events. The tractor driving experience will be running throughout the week. Tractor-churned ice cream will be dished up, sawmill demonstrations are scheduled and several other kids activities will be taking place.
