Posted

MENTONE - On Friday, members of the Echoes of the Past hosted a tractor show during the Mentone Egg Festival. Tractors of all makes and models were on display for patrons to check out. John Deere, Farmall and Ford tractors representing several different decades were parked by the fire station to the delight of festival goers.
Members then participated in the parade on Saturday. Creighton Brothers were the grand marshals of the parade, celebrating 100 years of business. Morris Folk, on his Farmall 200, pulled the tram. The 4-H Poss-Abilities group rode along the parade route in the tram. There were multiple father and son, father and daughter and grandfather and grandson piloting tractors during the parade.
The next event for the Echoes of the Past will be Silver Lake Days. The members will participate in the parade and park tractors after on Ind. 14 near High Street for patrons to check them out.
