The sounds and stories of early America echoed through the Akron Carnegie Public Library on Thursday evening, bringing the realities of the Revolutionary War to local residents as part of Fulton County’s celebration of America’s 250th birthday. Fulton County native Cindy Price spearheaded the "Revolutionary Reading" presentation, offering attendees a journey into the late 18th century. Dressed in period-accurate clothing, Price read directly from historical documents of the era and performed musical pieces popular during the birth of the nation.
