Eagle Court Of Honor Held For Scouts Frush, JordanWarsaw Scout Troop 715, with Richard McCleary as Scoutmaster, now has 115 Eagle Scouts. McCleary has been the Scoutmaster for 44 years, more than half his life.

Last Saturday, an Eagle Court of Honor was held for Andrew Frush and Alex Jordan at the Trinity United Methodist Church. Eagle Scout Jeffrey Naundorf-Miller started the formal ceremony with the presentation of “The Colors” and led the crowd with the Pledge of Allegiance. Scout Ethan Rivich led the Troop in repeating the Scout Oath and Law. Ariel Herrera did the invocation.

McCleary introduced the Eagle Honor Guard, which included Naundorf-Miller and Eagle Scout Jacob Hawn. Naundorf-Miller then escorted Frush to center stage and told about Frush’s achievements in Scouting.  Hawn then escorted Jordan up front and told about Jordan’s achievements.

McCleary introduced guest speaker Indiana State Rep. David Wolkins. Wolkins mentioned men, and their accomplishments, over the past 100 years who were Eagle Scouts.

Troop 715 Committee Chairman Joe Hawn presented Frush and Jordan with their Eagle pin. Frush pinned the Mom and Dad Eagle pin on his mother, Audrey Frush, and his father, Joe Frush. Then Jordan presented his mother, Lisa Amburgy, with her Mom pin.

Committee member Stephanie Naundorf gave The Eagle Charge and Committee member Anita Kline read “An Eagle Mom’s Poem.”

A reception has held in The Fellowship Hall following the ceremony.
