Short and sweet is how I will keep this, keeping in line with the coverage that the Times-Union bestowed upon the participants of the Downtown Days held Saturday in Warsaw.
Congratulations, Mr. Nieter, you were able to sum up 12 months of preparation and planning, which equated to approximately 13 hours of non-stop festivities, in less than 34 front-page words and one (1) photo, not including your "Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union" text.
Whew, exhausting editorial coverage, to say the L-E-A-S-T.
It is a shame that Warsaw's own newspaper dedicates more print space to activities outside its own home town. The participants and volunteers, who donated their time and efforts to this event and those like it, deserve better.
