SYRACUSE – Douglas W. Shuler, 48, of Syracuse, passed away Sept. 3, 2012, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born May 14, 1964, in Santa Maria, Calif., to Jack and Helen Jones Shuler, who survive.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
Also surviving are a brother, Michael (and spouse Julie) Shuler, Kearney, Neb.; two sisters, Cindy (and spouse Philip) Miller, Leesburg, and Tonya Cretacci, Kearney; four nieces: Holly, Brandi, Sadie and Cassi; and two nephews, Tyler and Dalton.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Solomon Creek United Methodist Church with Pastor Glenda Woodcox officiating. Burial will be in Solomon Creek Cemetery.
