ROCHESTER – Douglas A. Scott, 59, Rochester, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019, near Stevensville, Mich., due to injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
On Nov. 1, 1959, Douglas Allen Scott was born in Plymouth, the son of Eugene "Scotty" and Virginia Hair Scott. In Gatlinburg, Tenn., Doug married Ellen Sue Harts.
A celebration of the life of Douglas Allen Scott will be on Friday, Sept. 20 at 11 a.m. Pastor Ken Smith and Chaplain Jason See will officiate. Friends may visit with his family from 4 to 7 p.m. today and an hour prior to services on Friday. Burial will follow at Rochester's IOOF Cemetery.
