The Kosciusko County Community Foundation announced the creation of a new fund – the Kosciusko County Addiction and Recovery Fund.
Established by anonymous donors, the Kosciusko County Addiction and Recovery Fund will provide support for programs and projects aimed at assisting individuals or families affected by drug or alcohol addiction, according to a news release from the Foundation. Grants from the fund will primarily focus on programs and projects that provide mentoring, training, education, transitional housing, or wrap around services to recovering individuals or their families.
Drug and alcohol addiction are wide spread issues affecting many individuals in the county, state and country. Often times, those affected by addiction do not have the financial means to seek the assistance they need for themselves and for their families.
