Donnabelle Zimmer, 89, Warsaw, passed away Dec. 17, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor Assisted Living, Warsaw. She was born July 13, 1927, in Warsaw, to Samuel S. and Ethel L. Godfrey Smith. She married Richard A. Zimmer on June 4, 1949, in Fort Wayne. They were married 55 years until his passing on July 8, 2004. She was a 1945 graduate of Fort Wayne South Side High School and a lifetime Warsaw resident. She was an antiques dealer for more than 50 years. She was a volunteer at Kosciusko Community Hospital for more than 40 years and had volunteered at the American Red Cross. She was a 4-H leader in the 1950s and 1960s. She loved animals, especially dogs. Survivors include a son, Bill (spouse Marcia) Zimmer, Winona Lake; two daughters, Janet Zimmer and Debbie Swihart, both of Warsaw; two granddaughters, Summer Zimmer, Winona Lake, and Satin (spouse Ryan) Lemon. Huntington; and a great-granddaughter, Landree Lemon, Huntington. She was preceded by her husband, Richard A. Zimmer, July 8, 2004. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan St., Warsaw. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Bob Jarboe, Kosciusko Home Care & Hospice chaplain, officiating.
