SYRACUSE — Donald E. “Don” Fackler, 82, Syracuse, passed away at 10:15 a.m. Jan. 25, 2017, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Syracuse. He was born July 18, 1934, in Goshen, to Forrest W. and Blanche I. Culler Fackler. He graduated in 1954 from New Paris High School; was a United States Army veteran; and was a lifetime Goshen, New Paris and Syracuse area resident. He retired in 2000 from Chore Time, Milford, after 43 years of service. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren, North Webster, and formerly attended the Church of the Brethren, Syracuse. He is survived by cousins. He was preceded by his parents. Visitation will be from noon until funeral at 2 p.m. Friday at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse.
