Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
Fans of planting trees and photography have until Nov. 30 to enter the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Community and Urban Forestry team’s inaugural photo contest.
To enter, email your best tree planting picture taken this past year to meschoen@dnr.IN.gov. Winners, who will receive tree-themed prizes, will be notified via email and be announced on social media and at this year’s Indiana Community and Urban Forestry Symposium Dec. 3-4 in Indianapolis.
The contest is open to anyone, with a limit of one entry per person. Photos will be judged by creative elements, photographic excellence and overall relation to the tree planting theme.
The complete rules of the contest are at events.IN.gov/event/urban-forestry-photo-contest.
