Dishwasher Fire At Beaman Home

Posted
Firefighters responded to a dishwasher fire Monday night at the Beaman Home.

Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory Public Information Officer Max Kinsey said firefighters were called at 9:58 p.m. Monday to 603 N. Parker St., Warsaw, and left by 11:02 p.m.

The fire was contained to the dishwasher, he said.

“So they contained it to the dishwasher, killed the power at the breaker, removed the dishwasher, made sure everything was good, ventilated the building and everybody went back in,” Kinsey said.

No one was hurt, and no one was displaced.

Estimated damage wasn’t calculated, but Kinsey expects it to just be whatever the cost of the dishwasher was.

WWFT was assisted at the scene by Winona Lake Fire Department, Warsaw Police Department and Lutheran EMS.
