Diana C. WaechMENTONE – Diana C. Waech, 76, of Mentone, passed at 9:28 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at her residence.
Diana was born Aug. 17, 1946, in Chicago, to Walter and Clara Lamz Marohn. She was married on May 11, 1968, in Chicago, to Victor D. Waech.
She graduated from high school in the Chicago area. Diana was a homemaker who lovingly and faithfully cared for her family. She was a longtime member of St. John Lutheran Church in Rochester. Diana enjoyed spending time in her garden, caring for her plants and the local wildlife. She was an avid reader and loved to spend time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Victor, of Mentone; child, Nick and his wife Andrea; grandchildren: Austin, Sarina, Elliana and Piper; along with nieces and nephews.
Diana was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carolyn Lueth.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1 at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with Rev. Curtis May officiating. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m.
A private interment will take place in the Mentone Cemetery, Mentone.
