Delores F. Zimmerman Hyde, 75, Warsaw, passed away at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 1, 2015, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born April 25, 1940, in Noble County, to Thornton G. and Leila Smith Zimmerman. She lived most of her life in Kosciusko County, enjoying sewing, crocheting, opera, family and friends. Surviving are a daughter, Crystal (and spouse Doug) Stahl, Pierceton; a son, Harold (and spouse Kate) Hyde, Mentone; a brother, Keith Berkes, Fort Wayne; 13 grandchildren: Samantha, Desiree, Yvonne, Dustin, Colvin, Amy, Tara, Nicholas, Harold Jr., Keith, Kayla, Tasha, Raleen; 31 great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; her twin brother, Delois Zimmerman; two brothers, John and Allan Berke; three sisters, Evelynn Himes, Dorthea Chittenden and Kathleen Harrold; a son, Bruce Hyde III; and a daughter Leila Swindle. “I am not gone, my soul lives on but in a better place. Surrounded by the light of God in all of his Glory and Grace.” There will be a private graveside service at a later date.
