Debra Collier’s School Of Dance To Present ‘The Show Must Go On’The stage will come alive as the students of Debra Collier’s School of Dance perform in the studios 44th annual recitals, “The Show Must Go On.”  

Performers from the studio will take the stage Saturday for six mini-performances at the Warsaw Community High School’s Performing Arts Center. Each recital highlights the perseverance and determination the students gained throughout the past year, according to a news release. Highlights will include the anthem of the Boys’ Hip Hop class’ “#ThatPower” to the performances of “I Won’t Give Up” and “Lean On Me.”

Over 100 students will be recognized in the program for five or more continuous years of study.  

“We are very proud of the students, their dedication and hard work”, said Collier. “It is exciting to celebrate their accomplishments.”  

Instructors Claire Kois and Amy Clay will also be recognized for their fifth and 30th anniversaries of teaching at the studio, respectively.  

“Amy has inspired so many students throughout the years, teaching them so much more than dance. I am very thankful to have her sharing her creativity and passion for dance with everyone,” said Collier.  “Claire has been a wonderful addition to our faculty these past years.  She has such an artistry and joy when she teaches.  She is a true treasure.”

Presale tickets for the performances may be purchased at the Performing Arts Center today from 4 to 6 p.m. or 30 minutes prior to each performance, which begin at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Debra Collier's School of Dance offers a variety of classes for dancers of all ages and levels. The studio provides various opportunities for students to develop their interest in dance, including the upcoming master workshops with guest instructor, Diane Gudat. In addition to a six-week summer session, various Princess Camps and theme camps are available.
