NAPPANEE – Dean Martin Thompson, 72, Fishers, and formerly of the Wakarusa-Nappanee area, died at 4:25 a.m. May 16, 2014, at Community North Hospital, Indianapolis, after a short illness. He was born July 20, 1941, in Wakarusa, to Leo Owen and Pauline Metzler Thompson. On Oct. 19, 1963, at Bible Baptist Church, Wakarusa, he married LouAnn Wyman, who survives. He served in the Army Reserves. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Nappanee Missionary Church with the Rev. James McKibbin officiating. Burial is in Olive West Cemetery.
