Dead Man Found In Yellow River In Marshall County

MARSHALL COUNTY - The Marshall County Sheriff's Department received a call of a deceased individual Sunday, June 28 at approximately 2:45 p.m. in the Yellow River, in the area of U.S. 31, north of U.S. 30.
The deceased was found by persons floating in the river, according to a provided news release.
The identity of the male deceased is pending as of midday Monday. An autopsy has been schedule for Tuesday, June 30.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Department does not believe that there are any public safety concerns. The situation is still under investigation by many agencies.
It is believed that the deceased has been identified, but law enforcement is waiting for confirmation of that.

Agencies involved include the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, Marshall County Coroner's Office, Indiana State Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Indiana State Police, Plymouth Fire Department and Plymouth EMS.
