David Wayne Biggs, 44, of 1827 Cambridge Drive, Warsaw, died at 5:30 a.m. March 25, 2012, in IU Health Goshen Hospital.
He was born Sept. 12, 1967, in Houston, Texas, to Edmund Douglas Jr. and Melvina Marie Loghry Biggs. On April 5, 1997, in Taylor, Texas, he married Paulette Lobo-Guerrero, who survives.
He moved to Kosciusko County from Texas seven years ago. He was involved at Warsaw Community Church and attended Nappanee Assemblies of God. He worked at a convenience store, and later as a dispatcher for his father’s ambulance service. He also served as an EMT and as a volunteer fireman. In 1989 he began working as a machinist for Intercraft Industries Corp., Taylor, then worked at Centerpulse Orthopedics, Austin, Texas, in 1995. He moved to Warsaw in 2004 to work as a machinist for Zimmer Inc., Warsaw.
Also surviving are a son, Zachary Biggs, Warsaw; his mother, Melvina Marie Biggs, Taylor; and a sister, Christi Biggs, Taylor. He was preceded in death by his father, grandfather, grandmother and a brother.
Services will be in Texas. Burial will be in Granger City (Texas) Cemetery.
