David A. Beall, 52, of Warsaw, passed away at 8:39 a.m. July 6, 2013, in Logansport Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 15, 1960, in Jackson, Miss., to Kenneth and Gretchen Hartman Beall. On Nov. 29, 2002, he married Linda McFarlane, who survives. He was a 1978 graduate of Ben Davis High School and Indiana University in 1992 with degrees in political science and economics. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1979-83. He was a radio operator receiving the rank of sergeant. He was an airport manager for Warsaw Municipal Airport since January 2000. He was a member of Warsaw United Methodist Church-Connection Campus and a 20-year member of American Legion Post 49, both in Warsaw. Also surviving are two sons, Justin Beall, Indianapolis, and Jeremy (and spouse Kristina) Chapman, Mulberry; a brother, James (and spouse Kim) Beal, Avon; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Derek Beall. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Connection Campus with Pastors Scott and Toni Carmer officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery Legion Circle, Warsaw, with military honors.
