The annual DARE graduation ceremony for Warsaw Community Schools sixth-graders took place Tuesday evening at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center in Winona Lake. It included entertainment, a keynote speech from WCS Superintendent Dr. David Hoffert, special recognitions and awards and a laser light show. Schools represented included Sacred Heart, Jefferson, Claypool, Lincoln, Eisenhower, Leesburg, Washington, Madison and Harrison elementaries. The DARE program turns 30 years old on Sept. 19, according to Warsaw Police Department DARE officers Roy Navarro and Allen Danko.
