AKRON – Danny Joe Allen, 80, North Manchester, died at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, at Peabody Retirement Community of North Manchester.
Danny Allen was born on Jan. 6, 1945, in Wabash, to Harold Lee and Emma Lou Meyer Allen. From 1965 to 1967, he served his country in the U.S. Army as a military police officer.
On Dec. 10, 1974, Danny married Willodean Ruth Ault in Rochester; she died Sept. 16, 2019.
The funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron. The interment will take place following the service in the Akron Cemetery with military rites performed by the Fulton County Honor Guard.
Visitation hours will be 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron.
