Dance Etc., a performance group from Debra Collier’s School of Dance, recently competed at the Indiana State Dance Championships in Indianapolis.
The group earned top honors across multiple divisions, showcasing their talent, dedication and artistry, according to a news release from Debra Collier’s School of Dance.
Dance Etc. II received first place in their division and was also awarded the top overall score among all petite and junior groups at the competition. Dance Etc. and Dance Etc. Teens each earned high honors in their respective categories, demonstrating the strength and consistency of the program across age levels.
These accomplishments reflect the dancers’ commitment to excellence and the high level of training they receive. Their performances stood out for both technical precision and emotional expression, earning recognition among a strong field of competitors, stated the press release.
“We are incredibly proud of our dancers and everything they accomplished at this competition,” said Tammy Seibold. “Their hard work, teamwork and passion truly showed on stage.”
Dance Etc. is a dance program designed for students who would like additional performance opportunities. Students perform for a variety of community events throughout the year, including summer festivals, the dance school’s Holiday Magic performances and annual recitals, Class Act Dance Troupe’s annual concert, and many others. The program continues to grow and is dedicated to the development of confident, skilled dancers while fostering a love for the art of dance.
