PLYMOUTH - D. Ray Minnix, 64, died at 9:36 a.m. Feb. 28, 2007, in his residence.
He was born May 27, 1942, in Knox, to Gomer and Ruby Jackson Minnix.
He attended Walkerton High School and served in the U.S. Army Military Police. He was a machinist, retiring from Bendix Corp, South Bend. He was a member of LaPaz American Legion Post 385.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Steve (Tina) Phipps, Warsaw; a son, Tracy Minnix, Syracuse; three grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a sister, Mrs. Harold (Judy) Farver, Plymouth. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and a son.
Graveside services, including military rites by the LaPaz American Legion, will be at Bremen Cemetery at a later date.
The Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth, is in charge of arrangements.
