Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
Akron Carnegie Public Library now has on display a collection of handmade crochet animals from local hobbyist Janet Ogle. She was always a knitter, but about three years ago, she decided to try her hand at crocheting. Ogle knew how to make chains and started simple by making dish clothes. She graduated to making afghans for her kids and grandkids and then took the plunge to make animals and dolls. This collection will be on display the month of September. Make sure to stop in at the library and see it in person anytime during normal business hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
