How sad if they close that small but yet big stretch of CR 100.
I travel that way everyday to get to work because I don't want to go on the U.S. 30 due to all the semis and traffic at that time of day (8:30 a.m.). If I still had children in school and they went to Harrison I would hate the fact that they would be diverted to Ind. 15 or U.S. 30 where more traffic is. Even more is the fact that if I or someone I know needs to get to the hospital then that has to be diverted as well.
We need to keep a straight shot open for emergency vehicles. It seems that if there are as little planes as stated in the article that need the extra runway, but still do fine, this closure doesn't need to happen.
