Continuously serving Kosciusko County since 1854
Editor, Times-Union:
On behalf of the A Country Christmas with Susie McEntire team, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, artists, and everyone who attended Saturday night’s event. Despite challenging weather conditions, our community — and our guests showed up in a big way, with visitors traveling from Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and more.
Because of your generosity, we were able to fill 20 boxes of toys for Toys for Tots, helping bring joy to local children this Christmas season. The evening was made even more special as the Honorable Judge McGrath swore in DJ Daniel to several local law enforcement agencies, creating a powerful and meaningful moment for our community.
We are especially grateful to Susie McEntire, along with artists Keenie, Bobby Tomberlin, Tess Frizzell, and Jason Michael Carroll, for being part of this memorable evening. A special thank you as well to Lt. Governor Micah Beckwith for surprising all of us by sitting in as a musician during the show.
Thank you to our volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes and to every attendee who braved the weather to support this incredible cause. Together, you made this night a true reflection of community spirit and generosity. We’d like to give a shout out to Slate for bringing a prototype truck for display along with all the coffee and hot chocolate you could drink!
Sincerely,
ML Community Impact Alliance
