Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department announced Community Paddle Boarding and Canoeing is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 26 at Pike Lake, 1009 E. Arthur St., Warsaw.
Free for all ages.
Come out and join the Parks and Recreation Department for a relaxing adventure on the lake — whether you prefer a paddle board or canoe, the water’s waiting.
While registration isn't required, each participant, or a parent/guardian for those under 18, must sign an annual waiver and rules acknowledgment. One waiver is needed per participant each year. The waiver can be found by visiting the website at https://warsaw.in.gov/818/Free-Programs
Anyone under the age of 16 must have an adult accompany them in the water. All necessary equipment, including life vests, will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Equipment usage is limited to designated time slots, and safety briefings will be given to all participants before they get started. Staff will be on hand to supervise all activities for safety.
